Leather Bowls

Working with handicraft in a contemporary context. Inspired by the old technique to harden leather by boiling it I made a more conventional method of dampening, pressing and baking in a oven to make the leather into a suporting material.

Also making a shape of a double curvature, a bowl to challenge what’s possible with leather as a material.

As any other leather product, these bowls will only become more beautiful by age.
